As a kid, I remember jumping on the trampoline and would always leak urine a little bit with every bounce. I always went to the bathroom before jumping, yet I still wet my pants. It didn’t really bother me at that time. I was a kid, and it was a stage I would grow out of.
Fast forward to adulthood, I still leaked when I coughed, laughed, jumped, or sneezed.
NOW it bothered me, but I had no idea where to look for help.
It took me up to the age of 30 before I finally found an answer…and it wasn’t “just do kegels.”
I became a Physical Therapist in 2014 and began specializing in Pelvic Health, where I finally found the tools needed to improve pelvic health and well-being. I had no idea how much this specialty would change my life and the lives of so many others who experience the same challenges.
